Get ready for Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week is from Monday 15 to Sunday 21 May 2023. This year, the theme is an 'anxiety', an emotion that impacts us all in unique ways.

Anxiety is a natural part of being human, but it can sometimes become overwhelming, affecting our mental well-being.

Various factors contribute to anxiety, such as exam pressures, relationship challenges, job transitions, and major life events. Financial worries, like struggling to meet basic needs, can also exacerbate anxious feelings.

During the week we will be spotlighting some of the amazing groups in Waltham Forest including Sketch Appeal, Motherly Love, Autism Peer Support, Hearing Voices, Me, Myself & My Pen! and Eating Disorders support group.
